There are over 100 cases in state courts where the GOP is trying to remove long standing laws that prohibit intimidation of election workers, gerrymander and make voting much more difficult in areas where they don't have a GOP majority. The GOP is recruiting people to "watch" polling places and is actually trying to get partisans to touch the ballots and be part of the counting! I had no doubt that Trump had an affair with Daniels. Until I read the testimony at the trial. Daniels is clearly lying and completely discredited herself.
The "good defense" is the fact that the prosecution hasn't managed to point to a crime let alone prove one. Hush money payments are not a crime. Having a lawyer on retainer is literally a legal expense. Pecker admitted on the stand that these sort of stories were bought and killed BEFORE Trump even ran for office.
Cohen admitted on the stand he only plead guilty to this same fake crime because they threatened to prosecute his wife for his tax crimes.
The case is over to anyone who isn't a partisan hack.
