A bit of advice please if you would be kind enough !
Have started Sirpoc method and couple weeks in with no issues .
easy run around 1hr to 1.15 , long run 1.5 hrs to 1.45 . ( HR 135 to 140)
session days I am doing 6x 6min HR around 163 to 165 ( max HR is 192) with 1min rest to get HR back in the 130’s
re session days. I am not looking at pace at, just HR aiming to keep around 165 .
I do this on treadmill as easier for me to keep HR consistent. ( easy runs outdoors )
I enjoy the 6x6min but wondering what benefits there may be from varying the structure (eg 10x 1km etc ) would you recommend playing around with it and can I increase the 6 min exponentially up to 4x 10 min ? Would this be better for max adaptation ?
