Bijan was wearing that silly purple biking cap that Williams guys wear that does literally nothing, but they think it makes them look cool.
Still cute tho. Hope he's ok.

I would disagree with you since it was actually pretty damn hot yesterday, but he wore it backwards so yeah. He looked cute tho.
He said had ice in the pouch, said it didnt help much. He was doing ok last time I spoke to him. Definitely wasn't in good shape yesterday. I doubt he will be running the 5k.
I am very sorry to hear of Bijan's passing. I will win the 5k in his memory.
I'll be at Applebee's all night if anybody wants to play board games or just chill.
Hey tosh, how comfy are your Hokas? Just asking for a friend!
that MIAC though
a good Saturday so far...
Last 700 of the 1500 at 1:39 or so from leader to leader? Damn.
And lax wins another, fuq em... LaMere is a stud and I think he's just starting to scratch the surface, shout out to Bijan, Hart, and Lau (among others) for coming back from the dead to have good races, Jake and Paul go 1-2--is this the end of the Oles prime?--Regardless, there should be at least one more year of strong performances from them in the 15 with Coffey back, Cassinni is on the come up, Mitch Black was convincing, anyone know the Molinaro DQ story?
Isaac Garcia-Cassani really likes 3rd place.
Lau one long ass nigga.
Much respect to anyone who can take that heat. Some people just fall apart above 80 degrees, but others can handle it.
I wonder if LaMere will find a race to try to break the D3 5000 record of 13:55...
Last year Paul Escher made two post-season attempts at breaking 4 in the mile (I think he did 4:02-03 in one). If he and Campbell have teammates do pacing duties one of them could possibly pull it off.
Escher and Campbell will both be racing competitve miles in th midwest on friday
Where at? Wisco Mile isn't until June 8th and the Festival of Miles in St. Louis is this week but thursday.
Escher at Festival of Miles Thursday, Campbell at Chicago Mag Miles Friday, both at Wisco
anyone know why the 5k was so slow? Didn't seem that hot at race time... A lot of fresh guys bonked.
Jaimie Norton will be there as well making a 4:06 attempt. Good luck to Jamie, Paul, and Jake!

I believe Molinaro stepped on the inside lane of the waterfall around the first turn and was DQed.
I know this is primarily a men's thread but what were the best women's events?
Anyone have any insight into what happened in the Javelin? 9 marks vacated and a lengthy post-meet back and forth?
If we want to discuss Women's events, then lets start with Amy Regan from Stevens Institute! What domination from just a junior! For those who don't know who she is, she won 10k by 30 seconds and the 5k by almost 20!!! That is just insane..and she's coming back next year!
