Again here we are. It is so confusing. The rules are that if you have something prescribed by a Dr. that might be considered and enhancer it is legal. If it is correct how can any sane person reading this world famous message board think oh everyone is running legit. Folks wake up. Live in reality. Parents have done a terrible job of teaching kids about honesty. Instead they are teaching them how to manipulate and work the systems. Again if you can get it prescribed it is legal. Makes PB's and Records fake.

10/27/2025 - This thread started well before anything was confirmed by Iowa State.
A volunteer moderator deleted several threads on this topic. That's not the way this should work. We believe in free expression and have reinstated them and merged them into this one thread.
As we wrote at the time, "If there is no truth to these rumors, please contact us at letsrun@letsrun.com or give us a call at 844-538-7786 and we will be happy to delete them and issue a statement."
It ends up appearing that the rumors had some teeth to them. Earlier today LetsRun.com co-founder Robert Johnson emailed head coach Jeremy Sudbury to let him know about this thread and asked if there was any truth to it.
At 3:31 pm ET, coach Sudbury emailed me the following:
Hello Robert,
Thank you for reaching out directly.
There were team rule violations. I have worked with our administration, and the involved athletes have been suspended and will not compete the remainder of this season.
Have a nice rest of your weekend.

And coach Sudbury has confirmed to us that no one who ran in the A race at Missouri was impacted by the suspensions. We have asked him about the status of his #3 runner from Missouri as it appears he was arrested last week after leaving the scene of a traffic accident as shown here.

Had an interesting call with a friend who works for a testing lab in W KC area. Their lab received an order for 20 rushed tests for Friday afternoon receipt & Saturday results from Big12. I don't understand what they said was being checked for but I admittedly don't pay attention to these things..was wasn't a full panel they said but a selected panel of PEDs.
No additional info or news around what sport etc but the timing is interesting.If its actually for the Big12 XC meet then will be interesting if its random or perhaps Top-10 for men & women. The race for 11th place may be epic!
Could be for football or another support perhaps if any of the local teams have competitions in town Friday/Saturday.

I'm not really sure that Galen Rupp is going to go into coaching because he's fundamentally an introvert and from looking at his profile over the years I don't know if he'd really be motivated to coach. Not saying that introverts can't coach but I'm not sure it's the right fit for Galen. If I'm wrong I stand corrected.
He could potentially be a great coach but I'm not sure that's the direction he's going to take.
I'm assuming that over his long career he's monetized his earnings well from Nike and he'll probably be comfortable for the rest of his life, just like his former coach Alberto.

This information is not true. It appears to be a rumor started by a teammate. Very gross and poor policy for Let’s Run to allow this to be posted. You can see he is still on the roster. I know this family. This is a hard working kid who had hip surgery last fall in 2024. He also missed his entire junior year in high school due to hip surgery and came back his senior year to be top in the state.

A teammate started this rumor calling everyone he knew. It is false. I am with inside information as I know this family since Seth’s high school days. This entire thread I just read through is filled with false information. Sounds like a jealous teammate wanting to bring a teammate down after Seth was out last year due to hip surgery. His teammate was routing for him not to return from injury. I sure hope his family decides to hire a lawyer. He was not removed from the roster. After talking to his brother Seth is choosing to enter the transfer portal due to the toxicity of a few bad teammates and feeling uncomfortable with the culture at Iowa State.

Just as, like most things in the NCAA, this thread was being swept under the rug. As a community we had decided that suspected and potential PED use by an NCAA team was part of the game and were moving on. Here comes AngelaM bringing it all back to the top of the feed. In an attempt to defend the actions of her favorite Cyclone, it reminded me this existed.
