The GOP House Judiciary and Oversight Committees have been alleging guilt of Biden without proof for years. Trump frequently assigns guilt to others without proof, and often in the face of contradictory proof.
Our system of Justice offers a presumption of innocence to provide a standard the prosecution must overcome. The system never declares anyone innocent.

You were going to read this Indictment of Trump. I don't think it will take you more than half an hour.
If you ever do read it, I'm absolutely positive you will agree that there is a massive amount of evidence that Trump committed some very serious felonies with respect to US classified documents.

Trump is assembling a group of outlaws to run his administration. The oval office will be the central hub of Criminality and crimes against Americans will originate there with immunity. Trump has no nationalistic loyalty. It is a transnational crime syndicate masquerading as a government.
Via Project 2025, Trump will purge any and all institutions that can check his power. These hires are meant to demoralize these institution and cause mass resignations. This talk of pushback by GOP Senators is nothing but theatre for their voting districts. They want recess appointments so they don't have to answer for their votes.

that's how i feel.
decent chance he's not guilty. but he's definitely a weirdo. He doesn't conduct himself well as a person. His peers don't like him, when they generally tolerate a lot and at least play nice with most. And he's just really not especially qualified for the job.
I'll say this though, I don't think he can be much worse than the guy who is in there now.
I don't know exactly how it works with cabinet positions and what kind of power the AG actually has. I hope there are some decent checks and balances to keep a guy like that somewhat grounded.

That's a lot of what's going on here with his defenders. To the vast majority of people (including republicans) Gaetz is just a creep, but to letsrun incels paying for sex with a prostitute is the ultimate fantasy. Even better if she's underage.
