Clearly smarter than you. But what you don't get is that it makes no difference if Floyd were dying; you cannot hasten the death of a dying person - that is homicide. The excuse he was already dying given by Chauvin's apologists make no difference to that fact.
However the fact is that the evidence points to Floyd not dying until he was under Chauvin's knee for minutes on end. That's murder.

i understand that having a heart attack whikst struggling with police (or ayone else for that matter) is not unreasoably uncommon, especially if you have sveral risk fctors or pre disposure. I undrstand it is a well known thing that is to be expected, in rare cases.
Does anyone have more on this and actual statistics and what is the normal outcome when someone has a hear attack and dies whilst resisting arrest or othrwise struggling with the police.
aside from drugs, that would appear to be a possible cornerstone of the defense for reasonable doubt.

This is moronic.there is clearly a chronological sequence of events that are normally included in 'resisting arrest' these include the final elements of restraint that stop you resisting arrest. there is no finite point you can necessarily identify where you can say the restraint has suddenly worked and the resisting has definitively and definitely ended. The restraint must also necessarily include the period until you believe the restraint will have been effective and the person wont just start resisting again.
the above is just common sense, its deranged to think otherwise.
And please. he was arrested for the 20 dollar bill. he was restrained for resisting arrest.

The ONLY reason GF ended up on the ground and "immobilized" was BECAUSE he resisted going in the police vehicle. Had he not resisted at that time he would have most likely died from the extremely high amounts of Fentanyl in his system or would be alive today in jail. Either way, had GF just followed simple people commands, we would have never heard of him and our country would be so much better off.

Not 2:!0, but my Cross Country Coach is well over 300 pounds and he ran under 4:10 in the Mile and under 2:30 in the Marathon (As a training run) he has Photos of him running right behind 2:10.06 Marathoner Ed Mendoza near the finish of the Junior College State Cross Country Meet.
