So I think the argument that the cure is worse than the disease may be gathering steam.
Read this today (4-30-2020)
Since mid March, 3.7 million Californians have applied for unemployment. In that same time period about 2000 people have died from the virus. Obviously there are more that will die, and it is every sense of the word terrible that people are losing fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, children, etc. but taking this in math form, for every death in California at this point around 1850 people have applied for unemployment. Each of those people have an average _x_ people that the fact they are out of work, directly affects them too. Maybe it is a factor of 4. Maybe it is 3. but whatever the factor is, for every death at this point something like 5000 people are in some way suffering as well per each person who has passed. (there is a ripple affect of people from that death obviously but it is unlikely to be 5000)
Money problems leads to most others in a relationship/family relationship. The fall out from that is yet to come. There is no perfect solution to what is happening, but I believe people are going to start verbalizing the above. Stay safe everyone.
