the thing is, there is in order to this world. a way things work. not just in sports, but everywhere. and it is often not fair. It isn't always right. It just is.
There are steps to climb and bridges to cross. Even when you don't want to. You have to play the game. Unless you are insanely rich or connected, you do not get to make your own rules. So try to find a way to play within them.
Truth be told, I understand the POV of parents and personal coaches. I spent some years working as an assistant coach under people who knew far less than I did. I spoke when appropriate, helped when I could, and made changes when opportunities arose. I played the game, got along with everybody, and worked my way up. Now I make the decisions.
When you are on the outside, don't come in and try to be the boss. that will be the quickest way to get exactly the opposite of what you are seeking. And it works this way in all areas of life. Work, school, sports. And if you can't handle other people being in control. Find a way to control the situation. Somewhere else.
