why not? do you really care if people come on a board and lie about their times? they're lying about all sorts of things on this board and someone claiming a decent (but not great) time is what gets people's panties in a bundle? i've never really figured out why breaking 15 is considered some sort of transcendent event on this board. anyone who thinks it is important in posting an opinion is the dope.

I have broken 15:00 but that was about 12 years ago and also before the internet age - although I could probably prove it from a paper record somewhere..
Wish I could say I knew the secret handshake to this sub-15 fraternity, but the best I could muster was 15:35. I still honestly believe one day I will see 14:xx.xx, but not anytime too soon. Maybe before I turn 30!
I dont know how many posters have broken 15min for 5k but I will go ahead and for some unknown reason post my 15 min + time.
