Your weak. I use to do insane doubles in college all the time. I have done same day douples 800m 1:52; 3000m 8:16. My most unique was a 500m 1:03; then running 4:10 in the mile back to back. It builds strength and to get stronger you gotta be uncomfortable.

There is only one way to be a man, and that's to drink raw eggs in a glass every day before a practice or meet. And to run an 800 all-out, followed by a 3200 soon thereafter, when, because of the wasted energy of that meaningless 800, the chance to shine, as potential indicated could have happened, has been blown - all stemming from a self-serving coach's ego trip, arrogance, and ineptitude.
OP ain't no man - or boy, for that matter - because he obviously hasn't just Nike'd it ("JUST DO IT"), as a flunky in blind obedience to his flawed "coach".

I forgot about morons like your coach haha. It’s funny, if you grow up and get a real job where people make real money, you’ll notice mouth breathers like your coach only seem to exist in the K-12 world or in the ranks of college administration. Hopefully you DNF’d the 800m and saved your energy for the 3200m since there’s much more return on investment that way.
