KeepItReal, why so bothered by this post? It is a mirror image of the post Lone moran wrote about how to pick up girls on the run. The pepper spray comment is clearly satirical, but it does highlight the point about women not viewing their runs as opportunities to meet men. She isn't talking about someone just waving "hi" on the way past.

OP, I do not know what you are talking about. Whenever I am approaching a pretty woman on my run I throw in a surge to show how relaxed I am when I am running fast. As I am passing by I turn my head a little to see if they are looking at me. If we make eye contact and she smiles at me, I smile back. If she waves at me, I wave back. I am very respectful to women, I never initiate a conversation with a woman. I always let them do it, this is all in the name of empowering women. Because I respect women, and if you even look at women the wrong way that is literally sexual assault.
