This win is not something that has come overnight. This boy has been training seriously since he was 11 years old and has improved his times every year since. Back in Norway, we have been following him for the past couple of years now and have seen his development almost first hand. He and his brothers train together (their father is their coach) - and they train hard. That is how they have achieved their results.

The Ingebrigtsen brothers are tested for dope year round - literally. None of them have ever failed a test, not Henrik, not Filip and not Jakob. That is a fact.

And, by the way, Norway has had world class runners before - Grete Waitz, Ingrid Kristiansen - both world class and world champion long distance runners, Vebjørn Rodal - Olympic silver 800m, Geir Moen, European Champion 200m and silver medal 100m... Also won the 200m indoor world champ. I think. We're a small country (5.5mill people), but that doesn't mean it's not possible for us to produce world class athletes in a summer sport...
