    Still very interested in how he'll look next year if he steps up in distance. No doubt he has the aerobic talent but some concern about his form. He is not the picture of smoothness out there.

    Also will be interested to see if McGorty can make himself a player for next year's 5000m team. Running the 1500m today was also a bit of a waste for him.

    McGorty didn’t have a fast enough 5k to get into the meet, so he ran the 15 instead.

    Just double checked and that is not the case. He didn't have the 13:35 auto but his 13:41.10 would easily have put him in the 5000m field, if he had not scratched in favor of running only the 15.

    Wimbley ran a time that wins Olympic and World Championships, and it was a big drop. That is a huge performance.

    Simpson is probably the best female distance runner we've had since Mary Decker but Shelby Houlihan has a gear in the 1500m that no American has ever come close to having, much faster top speed than Simpson, and that should serve her very, very well in world champ and Olympic competition. She also has already shown sub 4 ability. It will be interesting to see if she can be the one to break the 1500m AR this year instead of Simpson. There's this sprint ability you see at the distance only in questionable Ethiopian runners like the Dibabas and in xy competitors.

    Murphy, Rohrer, Schweizer racing where is Allie O? Would be cool to see in steeple with real competition
