why this guy is so popular
why this guy is so popular
Krupicka thinks way too much of himself. He attened Colorado College, a private liberal arts school. Most people that attend that school are like him except better.
Krupicka's always been arrogant and cocky. While it's acceptable when you're 22 now he's just sad aging hippie.
Here's the thing: He is an "entertainer" for those people that are fans of his. That is what he is doing. There is nothing to be ashamed of as far as that goes. Depending on your religion (or lack thereof) and/or world view, pretty much everything is pointless on a Galactic scale. If you want to start assigning "importance" to things, well entertainment is clearly about as important as it gets in modern civilization. TV, Movies, Sports, even Art. All about entertaining since our basic needs are already taken care of.

Krupicka, GingerRunner, Jamil Coury et consortes- all great athletes. It's just a fashion show. Fake tan, shaved legs, shoe/hat hoarding, long hair, beards, social media, drones, food pics, coffee, beer, long socks, youtube confessions/therapy, etc. For real trail running check Walmsley.
What? Fake tan? AK is outside every day in CO. You may not like the guy but he logs insane miles on the trails. How is this not real?

True, all professional sports is, by definition, entertainment. Baseball, basketball, swimming, running, tennis, etc.
Athletes get paid because other people pay to see them either through ticket sales (in person) or advertising revenue (tv, radio, youtube, etc.)
I'm stating the obvious, but sometimes people ignore the obvious. A surprisingly large number of people actually believe they are entitled to payment if they are successful at their respective sport.

Always a good time watching you wannabe computer jockeys making fun of those who are actually out there hitting trails and getting it done. Keep at it.
He's not hitting the trails. He's hitting it.
Rides bikes more than anything these days, it seems. Half-ass climbs, fourth-ass runs.
So many weak people who are jealous they dont have his successes and output on life. Chill out and go run. Quit worrying about one dude. He could care less what you guys think. Half of you are from non competitive states. He was on top in the most competitive
