Back in 2014, a Tesla Model S owner claimed that his vehicle had burst into flames while he was driving it home after taking delivery. Four years later, we finally found out how Tesla responded to this claim at the time, revealing what their "internal investigation" uncovered: the company claimed that a bullet was fired into the battery pack of the vehicle from inside of the car.
John Schneider from Pennsylvania took delivery of his Model S on December 31, 2014 when it caught fire, resulting in Schneider eventually filing a lawsuit against the company. In his suit, he claimed smoke and flames began to emit from the rear of the vehicle:
“As Schneider drove the Vehicle in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, smoke, and flames began to emit from the rear seat of the vehicle in the vicinity of the Vehicle’s rear battery cells. Schneider immediately stopped and exited the Vehicle and watched as the rear passenger seat continued to burn.”
Tesla gave Schneider a loaner while they were preparing his new vehicle, but that’s when things got crazy.
A few weeks later, the automaker completed its investigation into the cause of the fire and it claims that the battery pack caught on fire because someone fired a bullet into it:
Schneider said that he didn’t agree with Tesla rescinding the deal and that the company’s actions resulted in losses for him due to his loan on the vehicle that wasn’t in his possession anymore.
The case was eventually settled out of court without any detail on the settlement. Here’s the full lawsuit:

SpaceX investors, including Peter Thiel's Founders Found, were reportedly alarmed to learn that Elon Musk's Boring Company was building a test tunnel entrance at SpaceX headquarters. Possibly even more alarming, it was being constructed partly by SpaceX employees, using equipment that was purchased with SpaceX funds, according to the Wall Street Journal. The same investors in SpaceX also found that, despite this use of SpaceX funds and resources, Elon Musk was the one first in line to receive almost all future profits from the Boring Company.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/elon-musks-new-boring-co-faced-questions-over-spacex-financial-ties-11545078371It was SpaceX employees who last year acquired a tunneling machine to help put into place the first test phase of tunnels that Musk envisions could wind up countrywide. At one point, regulators who visited the site could not determine what company was in charge of the project. An OSHA rep was told by a SpaceX employee that he was unsure whether The Boring Company was even a separate company or a unit of SpaceX.
He later qualified to regulators that SpaceX employees “are involved in the project but aren’t actually employees of TBC”.
GDP Growth under Trump is not 4.1%:
2017: 1.8/3/2.8/2.3/2.2/4.2/3.5%
Obama had 9 quarters of 3+% growth just from 2011 on.
Budget Deficits:
2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018
$1,413 $1,294 $1,295 $1,087 $679 $485 $438 $585 $665 $779
Obama's first deficit came from inheriting Bush's recession. The deficit dropped well over 50% under his term.
Trump came in on one of the longest economic growth periods in American history and has only raised the deficit.
Space X received private investment today valuing the company at $30 billion.
Odd how Musk suddenly became horrible after his text "who do you think owns the media?".
Those of us who know the answer understand what's going on here.
The rest of you suckers continue to allow the MSM to lead you by your nose.
He scrapped the big debut tonight.
I don’t know about this space mining stuff and Elon can be crazy at times but I do enjoy my Tesla Model 3.. it’s a very nice car.
A Tesla Model S that was not being worked on and was not involved in a collision spontaneously combusted on Tuesday, catching fire in a tire shop parking lot near the Bay Area, according to NBC. After the fire department arrived and the Tesla was subsequently towed away, it then reignited a second time at a tow yard.

The name "Thunderf00t" is the alias of Phil Mason, a British chemist and video blogger who has become well-known for posting YouTube videos that criticize, among other things, pseudoscience. His day job is as a scientist in the field of chemistry and biochemistry at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. His tongue in cheek, yet starkly accurate criticisms, have earned him nearly 850,000 subscribers on YouTube and an aggregate total of more than 220 million views.
Mason then goes on to note that the type of tunnel Musk is digging, 12 feet around with no infrastructure in it, can easily be made for about $15 million to $20 million per mile. This is a far cry from the nearly 99% cost savings that Musk seems to be trying to pitch to the public.
From there, Mason goes on to compare the cost of these tunnels to the cost of laying six lanes of freeway per mile, which comes in well under $10 million, displaying the cost efficiencies that likely make freeways the more obvious choice. He also goes on to explore the inefficiencies of the elevators that are proposed to be used moving cars underground, and then back above ground, for Musk's tunnels.

Great video.
Musk is an idiot but all the people who believe his BS are even bigger idiots.
