You guys are missing a key point. The gate attendant was supposed to let them go first. They paid for that privilege. As mush animosity as you might hold towards first class, they help lower the price of our coach tickets. I fly a lot and I've never seen a gate agent not let a first class passenger cut. This agent was probably discriminating because Mo is Muslim. I bet that's why his wife laid into her, rightfully so.

I'm really hoping that you're just messing about; but in case you were not, Mo was not with her. The attendant had no idea who she was, except a first class passenger late to her boarding time. Your anti-muslim fantasy is extinguished.

Mo & Tania (& their kid) missed the 1st Class/Delta Platinum boarding call. Then they walked up to the front of the line while the next group was boarding and the gate agent (who was the only Delta person at the gate) asked them (politely but directly) to step aside and wait until she finished boarding that group.
Lord Mo and Lady Tania arrived late to the party and demanded a privilege others got only by being on time. She lost her place in line. Sucks to be so privileged.

That's my mistake for not reading carefully. Though, unless someone is wearing their muslim kit, do you honestly think some bleary eyed gate agent is going to be able to tell if someone is of a particular religion. I think you're just being obstinate. Good on you for stirring discussion, however.
