They could have neutral uniforms issued in team colors, and then have hot press on logo's added by each manufacturer...

i agree the shoe companies wouldnt work, for reasons pretty well stated already. It would be nice to know who actually is picking the teams, or at least put a retired athlete as the face of the teams. It would be nice to see more teams eventually, but i think they are smart by starting small and not spreading the talent too thin. It is silly that eugene is hosting this though, when they dont even have a team involved (unless they are going with some sort of neutral championship site, in which case it is even dumber because eugene has enough of those already).

It would be cool to have 4 teams from 4 cities with a meet in each city. Philly has UPenn, Sacramento has a great stadium, Drake has a good stadium, and then maybe a southern city as well, like Lawrence or Arkansas.
Also, we need city specific singlets, maybe with names on the back and their sponsor's logo on the front.

On the other thread I suggested East, West, North and South teams, with one meet in each region.

Did you read my whole post or just saw Nike and jumped on it? The last sentence notes: it cannot just be Nike keeping this sport going in the US.
