Daphne Schippers Swollen Beyond Recognition

I searched phor pics of this "Daphne Schippers" but I couldn't phind any. I am a big phan of athletics but have to admit that I don't know of an athlete called "Daphne Schippers".

But the Dutch journalists I spoke to all said the same thing: her mum and sister had both had acne, and that it was hereditary. Should like to point out Schippers is no fast than lots of other athletes this year. Just because she has a powerful physique, does not mean she is using PEDs.

i have terrible back acne and i dont use steroids, im not fast, nor am incredibly muscular. The fact that people use this as "proof" that someone is doping is ridiculous.

Here are the facts:

Daphne has been fast for a very, very, very long time. If you know anything about her career or the multi-events you will know she has always been blazingly fast.

She had to give up being a hept. because of ankle issues aggravated by high jumping.

Her very slight uptick in size is a result of not having to deal with the long jump, high jump, and 800m where this can be an issue.

She and her coach have a clean and good reputation among the hept. community. Jessica Ennis and her coach no less stated as such at the 2015 Worlds - look it up on Youtube.

Finally, it is in incredibly poor form to speculate about her. Are you an endocrinologist; are you her doctor?

Because internationally ranked sprinters that podium have a long history of never testing positive?

Hmmm. It seems like someone else noticed the backne. T&F insiders calling it hereditary. If only T&F insiders could be trusted.

It's reasonable to suspect any T&F athlete of doping, but the acne is hardly damning. I'm a college professor and lots of women in their 20s, athletic or not, have acne on their shoulders and backs.

Does Daphne have some special kind of acne that does NOT show up in photos? Because, again, no one has yet posted a photo that shows any acne.

She protects her image and covers up with tons of make-up and photo shops her images (agency). Just go see her in person at any meet. She's quite available. Says she can't take Proactiv because it has banned substances.

Is your premise that only pre-pubescent girls have acne? That no 23/24 year old women do?

The video shows a woman with facial acne. Big deal. My step-daughter is 37 years old and she has acne just as bad if not worse, and she definitely isn't on steroids.

I'm not speculating on whether Schippers is or is not a drug cheat, I'm saying that the supposed evidence of acne in the video is, to me, simply video of a woman - like many women who are not taking steroids - with bad facial acne. It constitutes proof of nothing other than that she has acne.

I saw her on tv a couple weeks ago, after another win on the circuit. Trying to follow her was a little man with bad fitting cheap clothes, drool running down his chin and a spastic left arm. Was that you, chief?
