So what exactly is BAA adjudication process for a bandit? Bib 8891 certainly was not banned from 2016 for running with someone else's bib in 2015. So if you run with someone else's bib with permission that is okay. Forging a bib is the no-no? What's the punishment ? Take a lap?

Les is a talker. What proof is there if damages? No damages. Case thrown out right out of the gate. Civil case anyway. Even with damages it would be what $1000 for some water and a medal? BAA won't be filing anytime soon. Les is just a talker.

Why not? If the BAA is happy to let Mike Rossi keep his finishers medal, pretty much anybody who gets across that line using whatever method they can has equally "earned" one. Rossi your way to the finish is apparently acceptable.

Correction: Rossi finished the Boston Marathon legitimately. It is his qualification that is in question.

BAA has been consistent. If the qualifying race doesn't issue a DQ, they won't. They would need to change that policy completely- no reason to make an exception for Rossi - no matter how much everyone despises him.
