But what I am really wondering is what happened with Nike? he was wearing a Nike kit at US outdoors last year.
You're wrong on that one. He will get less $$$$$$ now. A sponsor wants him in their gear before he wins big. He also still needs to run rounds at the OTs. Yes, he is a stud front runner, but he almost didn't make this final and failed to make it out of the rounds at USA's last year.
Lmao yea that's it. The sponsor wants him in their gear b4 he wins big in a USA NIKE uniform lol. You are absolutely crazy if you think a young 23yr old world champion with potentially many more usa team appearances commands less money haha.

That doesn't make any sense. Sponsorship is about the athlete spreading the brand that is sponsoring them. If he was already sponsored, then I would expect him to get a bonus for winning world indoors, but why would an athlete get a retroactive bonus for something they did in the past whilst not receiving the support of that company?
Say Adidas offer him a great package and he takes it. Why would Adidas give him a retroactive bonus for winning worlds whilst wearing a Nike kit and training with a New Balance supported team?

What a race. That's what I'm talking about. He did what I wanted him to do - just went for it.
23.92, 49.73 (25.81), 1:17.37(27.64) and 1:45.83 (28.46) !!
Yes, fantastic run he set off too fast but still managed to hold form for the win

Pretty dumb post. Obviously a guy competing all spring and going to OT and potentially the OG as a standing World Champ is more valuable for "spreading the brand" than if he had gone out in prelims at worlds.
I wouldn't have stated Berian "choked" if he did not win gold this past weekend. That was a gratuitous shot at Steve Holman. Any (800 to 3200) metres MN high school runner who did as well as Holman did was a very good accomplishment.

I don't understand how he has been unsponsored this entire time. You'd think some shoe company would want to sponsor a 1:43 guy, one of the fastest U.S. All time. Even after USAs, wouldn't a shoe company step in to sponsor a US champion? Anybody have any insight? There are far worse athletes with sponsorships.
His new agent Hawi is the worst. He has been Maggie Vessey's agent for a few years now and still no deal for her. Hawi will ask for way to much! He does this all the time and never gets a deal sealed, so the athletes gets screwed with no deal for months and months. Bad move on Boris's side to sign with Hawi. Boris thinks he is going to get more $$$ since he won worlds, right? Wrong, he has labeled himself as a New Balance athlete for free and has a terrible agent.

As stated twice already, he is already signed with a shoe company.
Only New Balance and he is not signed yet, they have him for free right now
Vent, can you explain your formulae from intermediate splits?
I am not seeing how you can use both
T200*4 + 3.0
and
T400*2 + 3.0
The second lap is always slower than the first, right? Projecting pace proportional from T400 will be slower than project pace from T200 and need less to be added.
T200*4 + 4.0 would make sense to me.
