8/10. Thorson will get smoked at a mid season meet, possibly at Steven's Point. He will pout, cry to mommy, and smoke a couple J's. Dad will tell him to man up and cut off his gosh darn hair, he looks like his daughter, not his son! He will also overtrain the next few weeks, and not make podium for nationals in the 3k.
Jordan Carpenter (all american last year), will beat Lamere, but come in behind Thorson in the steeple if they all run it.

I also want to bring some attention to Nick Marcantonio who took XC off because he was out of eligibility and has been training all fall balls to the wall. He could go top 5 in the 5k or if he even wants to drop into the 3k. Check him on insta for proof

Because not everyone lives off mom and dad's money. He'll have a successfully career while spending less on an MBA, over some moron going to 'prestigious instituation'. Get over yourself.
Top schools provide need-based financial aid that meets 100% of your need. So your argument is invalid unless he is fairly wealthy, but his parents don't want to pay for anything.

Hmm, I don't know, maybe he doesn't want to spend thousands of dollars just to move and join a completely new university and cross country and track program? Oshkosh actually has a very, very good MBA program. I'm not naive enough to say better than all those east coast schools but a lot of very smart and successful people got their MBA at Oshkosh and would attest to the strength and success of that program.
Love seeing all these salty east coast kids. Not only do you get stomped year in and year out on the course/track, but now you get beat in academics as well.
