The fact that you wrote a response to prove you're not showcasing high school girls is inherently sad. I would say that you're one of the premier destinations for news in all of track and field and cross country; basically our sport's ESPN (albeit a smaller scale). Now, let's put this into the context of other sports: Do the actual authors/creators for the top outlets for tennis, golf, or basketball post links to event pictures with the title "Hotness"? The answer is no. The reason is class. I'm not saying that the problem is that the thread exists whatsoever--it's who it's coming from.

Nothing wrong with this title. I can guarantee you AT LEAST one girl from the race with self esteem issues will see this thread and get a little more self esteem knowing that someone thinks she's "hot."
The two people who will get through this whole NCAA sports thing and go on to lead good, normal lives are the kids from Montana. Good on them. Everyone else is trying WAY too hard.
