Thanks for the continued advice and encouragement.
I have decided to stay between 25/30 mpw since that's what people seem to agree is best.
Today I ran 7 miles at a comfortable conversational pace at 9:32 per mile average. Still zero alcohol in over 8 weeks. I am drinking plenty of water and my diet is just okay...definitely not great. I am still hovering around 223 lbs right now.

I have a couple of 8 mile long runs under my belt. I hit 30 mpw as my high so far. No alcohol, plenty of water, no injury. Still motivated and enjoying the process.

It's going okay .... Been very busy lately because I was wrapping up the school year (I'm a teacher... Please don't bash lol) and just got married. I'm around 40 mpw with 10 mile long run. I registered for the Disney marathon which will be in January. I took some of the advice and realized nov might be rushing things. I am not worried about the 4 he goal and will be happy to finish my first official marathon and ill just adjust my goals based on how I do, although according to my training thus far it seems as though I will be finishing well under 4.

Sounds outstanding! Congratulations on the nuptials. And Disney is a great choice -- it's lots of fun and typically well organized (in true Disney fashion). Please give Tigger a high five in passing on behalf of the letsrun board!
