The video that ends race walking?

This sport is such a farce and it (irrationally?) upsets me.

The auto-play video on the side of the message boards makes it obvious that everyone is running. Why do the Europeans and Asians like race-walking?

At this point in history, racewalking is stunningly contrived and arbitrary and nonsensical. They're not walking at all, they're running strangely. I mean, come on!

When do they have race walking? At what meets?

I've been going to track meets for 40 years and I've never seen a race walking race nor heard anyone mention results or anything.

I'm not going to get worked up about ending a sport that most people don't know exists and that doesn't ever show up on the radar of an avid track fan like me.

Yep, but the hurdles are entertaining. Nothing like a good crash. Race Walking is straight up BORING.

The only reason this is an issue is because you cannot handle the fact that there are walkers that complete races in a faster time than what you can run it. You have no option to rectify this, because if you would try walking you would finish the race in an even slower time.(even if your are obviously lifting)

The frustration to know you are not good enough to be walker shines through every negative comment here. Just saying.
