I expect what the USADA will do in the future is create a new banning rule for athletes who consistently test just below the allowable limits. If those tests consistently show someone always passing, but their results are always well over the norm, then a ban is likely.

the USADA is building up a long term data set for athletes. some are getting extra testing because allowable limits are consistently bumped against, and other athlete's data does not show the same bumping.

It's nice that the USADA "appears" to be doing something. Even as dubious the agency might seem, it's still waaay better than agencies found overseas. Is there even a working anti-doping agency in Kenya?

USADA is USATF. The same power elite. Pro sports control their own tests and interpretations. There are no exceptions in human pro sports.

The current approach is phony with USATF paid employees involved in collecting and shipping samples. This is the same as phony police department 'Internal Affairs' coverup bureaucracy. But modified, split between USATF and USADA.

For example, airline pilots are not tested by the airlines but by the FAA. Horses and jockeys are not tested by the race track owner, but by sworn state police officers, veterinarians, and doctors.

If we were serious about having a clean sport, we would need a three prong approach

1) A commission of working scientists, lawyers, and law enforcement detectives, who replaidly chase down to find new methods of cheating, write legislation and regulations, to be immediately enacted into International, Federal, State law.

2) Establish independent entities to schedule, sample, control chain of custody, interpret, and publically dustribute (with re-daction) test results and interpretations for independent worldwide study by universities and research laboratories.

3) Examine and adopt applicable structure and regulations from State Govt's (Horse Racing), Department of Defense, and Federal Aviation Administration.

All the testing is invasive, harmful, repugnant, and doesn't accomplish anything worthwhile.

USADA has no choice but to focus on Rupp after Centro got popped. Besides, it would be a huge trophy to bring down Nike's distance poster-child (farah is currently untouchable and everybody knows this)

Anyone else notice that only Nike athletes test positive for A sample then, "time passes" and USADA tests the B sample and "somehow" the B comes back negative?

Its only been Nike athletes. There is corruption in the house, especially being that USADA is affiliated and funded by USATF which is in turn funded by who...NIKE

Do the math and wake up folks, Nike is breaking some serious moral rules in sport.

While some types of variations set off flags in the passport, so does homogeneity of results. Also, there is testing in multiple locales under different agencies, so that not all of the testing of US athletes is done by USADA.

I agree with you. The test is subject to the personal opinions of the people looking at the data. You see what you want to see. Bio-passport interpretation is much like a Rorschach Test (inkblots) interpretation.
