Dibaba had to lap four or five runners on her final two laps, often going into lane two, even on a bend. If not for that, she would have easily broken 9:00.

If we want to throw around doping accusations purely based on performance, then all world records are statistically extremely suspect, male or female, any distance. The fact that she just had three record breaking races in quick succession isn't that unusual, many runners have had a similar peak. If she now goes on to produce these times for two seasons or more, or if we see other athletes smashing old records, then we should ask if there's been a breakthrough of some sort that suddenly allowed to raise the level. Until then, her races are just as suspect as any other world record performances.

A person would have to be extremely delusional to not see that the Ethiopian adaptation to hypoxia is different from any other high altitude dweller and a better adaptation to doing hard work in a hypoxic condition. Such as running.

No one misinterpreted that study except for you. I read it too. The author states that their adaptation is different, sure, but he also states that it is unclear why their adaptation is different. Nowhere in that paper is there any indication that it has to do with genes. You are the one who needs to keep reading. At least past the title of these research papers. Try reading the actual paper.

I posted that one as a teaser to test the denial level and then linked to a series of progressively more detailed studies. Everyone in denial got really quiet as the evidence mounted.
