Iowa, Purdue, and South Dakota are all on their campuses
Iowa State's course is not contiguous with the main campus.
Also Indiana State does not have a dedicated course. The LaVern Gibson Course is owned by a company, not the university. Same thing goes for Virginia, FSU. The courses they hold their home meets on are not owned by the universities. They are dedicated cross country courses, but not dedicated D1 courses.
Idaho State (Big Sky) has one right next to campus.
It's dirt and sage and very up and down. It is open to the pubic as I recall, and people walk and jog on it, but has not other formal uses by the city or school beyond XC.
Looks like they could not be much closer to campus.
Does it count if they don’t hold meets? I don’t think Purdue hosts any cross country meets.
Princeton's course is practically on campus. Not sure how "on campus" is defined in this thread
There does seem to be some variation. I would consider Iowa State on campus, as well as Texas A&M, others might not.
Utah State has a dedicated course. It's pretty small so you end up doing a million loops but it's a course nonetheless.
Miami University has one, and technically it's on campus, although it is removed from the main campus.
