Are you serious? He just ran a 3:37 to win the B race by half a second (3 sec PB). He beat the other US runners in a championship race and has yet to get dragged in a fast race. Wouldn't be surprised to see him roll a sub 3:35. Hopefully the 3:37 win will be enough for him to get some faster races before he leaves Europe.

Props to him. For a guy that was maybe 10 seconds faster than me in HS, to do what he has done, is pretty amazing. I beat my HS bests, but by much more modest amounts!

I can't believe he works 8-4:30 every day, goes to teaching conferences etc. in the summer and still manages to train hard and run beastly times!

I wonder how fast his 1500 would get if he got the galen rupp treatment?

This was about what I thought he could do, considering that he got stuck in the B heat. Fine work from him and surely he's got a few seconds more in him if this gets him into a much faster race. Also, McNamara did an impressive job in beating the Olympic bronze medalist in Iguider and winning the A heat.
