My guess is that Solinsky will run in the 2nd fastest 5k race.
His tactics will likely be the same as for the 3k race he won at UW back in early March: don't worry about time, just run with the leaders then kick at the end if he can.
Possibly Webb in the 2nd heat as well.
Again, don't know this for fact.
Declared entries were due to be posted at 1pm PST today but not up yet. Declared entries not necessarily the heat sheets which may come later in the week.

Anyone guessing that the Sol Train will run under 13:30 is dreaming I think. If he is in 13:20s shape now, he would likely be in low 13:00 shape by the end of the summer. I don't think they're pushing for that this year.
If I remember, they said if he can get back to where he was as a senior this year, that woukd be solid. As such, I think if he breaks 13:45 that is a really nice step forward. Into the 13:30s and its huge.
I figure whatever he runs this weekend, he should be 15 seconds faster by eend of year. So if he is in 13:25-30 shape by yeqr end, that would be a nice stepping stone for next year.
Webb... who knows. 13:10-14:10.

A lot of negative commentators might have been disappointed by Solinsky, it seems. That seems pretty perverse.
