I notice Royce Shaw is in the race and is wearing a blue shirt with a white Y on it. I know he went to Harvard and ran well there. Just curious if anyone knows if that is a Yale singlet or a BYU singlet that Shaw wore in this video.

This was the CA HS State Championship, so I would strongly assume that was Shaw's HS singlet. I'm sure it was a requirement that each athlete had to be present in their official HS uniform. He certainly went on to be a great star at Harvard and was inducted into the Harvard Sports HoF in 1996.

Jesus Christ took the "doing" out of our hands and did it all Himself. That is why, Danielson couldve been set free from the "performance" of trying to do "enough" to earn favor, or earn points in order to be accepted. That is whats wrong with all other religous groups. But Jesus Christ takes that burden away from us and all we need is faith. Faith as small as a mustard seed and you can move the mountains of tribulation out of your life.
God is not through with him yet. For the Apostle Paul wrote the majority of Scripture while he was in prison. As horrendous of a crime he commited, God can still, and will use him for a purpose. Perhaps write a book, make a movie that will inspire a generation of kids to think about their choices they make. Who knows. It is an incredible workout. Heck, I was runner-up in the big schools state meet in the 2 mile in high school and ran a 4:14 mile indoors at age 18 and I don't think I ever ran a single 200m in 24 up until that time (a couple years later a ran 23.8 in practice, which was all-out). My point is, the man must have had great speed, which is likely the main determinant as to whether such a workout is feasible for a 4-minute miler. If he was capable of 22.0, then running 20 in 24.8 might be possible with a rolling start.

We don't know the facts, which hopefully will come out in court. The information about the vents leading up to the shooting is based primarily on the testimonial of a friend of his ex-wife and on what Danielson and his attorney told the reporter. It is unlikely those two sources capture all the pertinent facts. However, it did seem like his ex-wife exploited him and then again. Perhaps he allowed people to do that to him. Finally he snapped, or was it the medication? Regardless, a real tragedy.

Actually, it seems you did not read the story: his second wife filed complaints with the police about violence, threats, and intimidation towards her. It is not clear whether those charges were resolved in court or otherwise.

We did a high school 4 min mile workout in track that the coach called "Short and Sweet"; 8x220's at 1 min intervals.
Only a few of our team could do it under 4 min (and he had a team that went to states in cross country). Never me.
And our coach would always say after the last 200 as we were gasping, "Remember Jim Ryun, Liquiori and Daneilson while in high school did all 8 under 30 sec with no rest between."
I think a great workout for high schoolers to do once or twice a season, at least for some perspective.
Doing 8x200 with 30 seconds to run, 30 seconds to run and start again, was a staple Oregon drill of Dellingers. Just about everyone could do it. Some may have had to build up to it, but it was a staple. AND, did this, it was often done at the end of a workout -- as a drill -- not as a core part of the workout. I think Salazar got it up there to 10-12.
