Good lord, I can't believe how many idiots on here still argue about the conversion. The accepted conversion is 1.08. Get over it. I don't care if it "seems wrong" to you. That's what it is. 4:10.00 makes absolutely no sense considering @ even pace she would come through 1500m in 4:10.04.

2011 IAAF tables (I can't find more recent ones) have a 3:59.99 men's mile at 1075 points. 1075 points for a women's mile is 4:36.23. A 4:28.25 is 1132 points, which is 3:55.41 for a men's mile.

I hope it's not a good comparison, for Ms Cain's sake. Poor Georgie Clarke never amounted to anything as a senior, unfortunately. Chronically injured, peaked as a teen.
