Yeah can you imagine how strong they would be with Bosshard. A healthy Joe Bosshard(track and xcountry all american) would be CU's #1 runner. Maybe he will come out during regionals. If he can even take one of the 5 scoring spots then he will have helped.

Also missing is Nike National High School 2 mile champ, Ammar Moussa who was our 5th guy at last years 3rd place NCAA finish. He could also be our #1 or #2 guy this year. OSU wouldn't stand a chance.

I think you have to assume at this point Bosshard and Moussaka aren't running. If either of them could have helped today, they would have. You can only compare with who has run so far.

At this point, it is OSUs to lose. On a good day they will clean up. They potentially have 3 in the top 15. With that said, I think some of CU's guys held back today. CU has never been known for any pack running but they did today because it was all they had to do to win and the conservative approach was the best option.

Looking at nationals I Hurysz could be top 15 or top 20 then theroux and Dowdy in the mid 20s. In order to have a chance of winning I think CU will have to have 5 AAs though. Usually takes around 100 in the team scoring to win.

Sure its fun to think hypothetically regarding Bosshard and Moussa. A healthy Bosshard is a top 10-15 guy and a healthy Moussa is probably a top 30 guy but it doesn't matter at this point because clearly they aren't healthy.

I think there was another girl...maybe from Utah...who ran with one shoe most of the race as well. She was actually carrying it. What the hell happened at the start that two runners lost shoes? Definitely tough bc there were some dirt/rock spots they had to run on where they were crossing from one fairway to another several times.

Although you definitely have logic on your side, I'm just hoping you are wrong.

Also a healthy Moussa is better than Theroux or Dowdy( he beat them both all last year). If you put Theroux or Dowdy in mid 20's then Mossa would be mid to low teens.

Also do you feel Van Halen , Medina or Murphy are top 40 (all American)threats?

Theroux and dowdy have clearly made huge strides. Moussa didn't run any track and in his only race this year he was the 9-10th guy on the team. so we haven't seen anything from him to show he has improved as much as those other two. Clearly he is a talent but don't discredit how good Theroux and dowdy have gotten. A year makes a big difference

But again it doesn't matter because there is no indication Moussa or Bosshard are going to race.
