You still don't understand the way reasoning works. You have not listed any facts (premises) which lead to your conclusion. Why should I come up with facts that don't lead to my conclusion. You have an invalid and untrue argument. I have stated why and shown how the exact same reasoning you use leads to ludicrous conclusion. Your argument against that is "it's not the same" without any reasoning as to why. There is not a single guy from NCAAs last year in the 5 or 10 who could make a steeple final. Obviously the opposite is not true. But in absence of a valid argument you declare yourself the winner. Great and I'd like to thank you for making me emperor. You have no facts to prove that yo didn't, right. Seriously, logic needs to be taught in middle school and up. this is just sad. Admit you FEEL that it's not a real event or competitive event or whatever. Don't pretend there is any reasoning behind it.
BTW - I can listen to either side of an argument about the 1500 being a middle distance or a "real" distance but since Fernandez was a member of the great high school 2008 distance class I can't see saying no one has won a distance race yet. I think I agree with that point.
