A change of .2 in pH of any organism is lethal, so it is reasonable to understand that blood pH is not affected by diet. But, isn't it also reasonable to understand that digestive system pH can influence absorption of nutrients?
Perhaps this is the reason many nutritionists are into the current fad of reducing acid in the diet.
As for non fruit or vegetable that may be the best food....cold water fish. Also a shout out for Krill as an Omega 3 source. Also agree that too much fructose can be a bad thing. Worst food stuff...high fructose corn syrup would be up there. White rice, processed wheat, corn are all up there. 99% of all dairy.
