If I remember right she had some decent races in Europe last year but got boxed, spiked, tripped, etc. It looks to me like her tactics have improved because she stayed up at the front on the outside of lane 1 and didn't get boxed in. It's good to see smart racing like that.
She's starting to get that horsy-face look. Just saying...

She looks much toned/stronger than when she was in college. I say toned in a Shalane kind of way and not a Karen Carpenter kinda way.
Anna Pierce is vegetarian. Wondering if some of her diet has rubbed off since Anna was also a fatty in college.
This is just so great to see. She has always had the physique to suggest great things, but her turnover has been lacking. NOT lacking anymore.

Obviously her training in Southern California has made a world of difference in her performance on the track. Pretty incredible story, indeed.

After the run today in Birmingham, you've almost got to worry about her peaking too early for Daegu. She is sure looking sharp.
So when is Uceny racing next? I forgot to try to find a feed for Birmingham and had to watch the replay.
Uceny reminds me of Rowbury in the way she has such clean form without a lot of the extra body movement or flailing around that you sometimes see, especially toward the end of a race.
Its clear that you speak before you think. Calling women of colour...gorillas. Also, if you look at all of their pictures from college...they are in line with the same physique they have always had. Especially Carruthers. go the Indiana website or do a simple google and look at the images while she was in college and when she was running poorly under gail devers. All of them, she has been naturally built and always consistent.
Basically at the end of the day...your ignorant. And the fact that you did not do any research before you open your mouth shows that.
