Good thread. I turned 40 last year and at the moment am of the mindset that life is ending.

This gives me hope even with my mediocre 1:42 half at Cap City. With doubles I'd probably be 1:32-1:34 alone, even discounting specialized workout. Simply due to volume.
Once I crank up the mileage I think I can see 3:30 easily, if not 3:15.
The key is figuring out how to do it w/singles vs. doubles.
I think I can do it on singles at first (45-55) but to truly be good, doubles (65-80) will be the key.
I will say the easy 2-3 even for M-5 is an instant 10-15 mile boost to whatever you do that week, so it makes it palatable. Plus the 2-3 shakes your legs out and gets them ready for later that day.
