Well yes, Webb clearly has better range. But that's not terribly relevant to who's more talented.
I still think Webb. Guy who says Wheating has more top end speed: based on what? Webb has the faster 800 PR and IIRC has split a faster 400. I don't think Wheating has any more basic speed that Webb.
incredible that this is even a discussion; Webb has an American record-- two, in fact (counting high school). 3:30 is, as we seem to have forgotten, a long, long way from 3:46. Webb is as talented as any runner may have ever been. His training, though, may be suspect.
