Let's not forget the 1999-2000 push Puma made with the middle distance runners from Kenya. They had Noah Ngeny when he won gold in Athens. They made the sickest mid-D spike ever in the Harambee (stolen Nike Jasari upper & Eldoret 1 plate/midsole), so they could very well be trying to get back with Mid-D runners. I would not be "shocked" by him going with Puma, but it does stand against a lot of Oregon-Nike history.
what does it matter ? the cheap shoes are all from China. i heard being from vermont Wheat likes skiing, & will sign with MTC, train and live in Mammoth and So Cal.

The push was like getting pushed off a cliff. Sweet spike that no one bought and they could not give away the running shoes. There sweet spot is fashion athletic for Puma.
Bolt fits the market as he transcends track and field and can play to a larger audience. Jeff Johnsons find will stay in the house.
