Above is a link to some info about the US runners in the steeple and 800m heats from the National Scholastic website.
It now says "Latest Results" on the IAAF website instead of saying "Live Results". Maybe they will have the results by tomorrow?
summary of AJEE WILSON'S race from meets website
Section 3 – Let’s see if Ajee Wilson can live up to the billing. It was a relatively fast pace with the leader passing 400 meters in 60.65. Ajee was sitting in fifth. Let’s see how she handles the upcoming surge. The Romanian Elena Lavric (and the favorite with a best of 2:00.06) started to make a move. Wilson began to move up with 250 meters to go and took the lead. At 200 meters, the point at which most US athletes have big challenges, Wilson held her own. But .. here they come! And they did. But so did Ajee. Lavric made a concerted effort to win the race but Wilson held her off. But it was not like she was straining to do so. Now I believe that Ajee can medal. I don’t think I’ve ever said that about any other US Junior athlete in this event after the first round. If she stays healthy, she may be the best junior 800 meter runner the US has ever produced. (Her winning time was 2:05.90).

Both Granger and Silmon dominated their heats. Silmon beat 8th by more than 2 seconds.
The first heat had over 2m/s wind and I'm pretty sure the 8th time qualifier came from that heat as well.
I only caught the 100's I didn't see anything about the 1500's.
Thanks, good link, but this is to one specific story. For more updated coverage from NSSF's Jim Spier, Joy Kamani and Paul Limmer, who appear to be at the meet, you can go to http://www.nationalscholastic.org/ and follow updates in middle column, with photos.
1500 summary from NSSF:
Mens 1500m Qualifying (3 sections: first 3 and those 3 with the next fastest times advance to the final)
Section 1 – This was a fast opener, with a good shot at the 3 time qualifiers will come from this race. Mohamad Al-Garni of Qatar was he winner in 3:41.99.
Section 2 – A much slower pace than the first, with American Elias Gedyon (Loyola, Los Angeles, CA) struggling to maintain contact. He finished well back (12th) at 3:52.44
Section 3 – Peter Callaghan (Princeton) seemed to be out of it much of the race, but started to move well with 300 meters to go. He found a second, then a third, gear with 200 meters to go (but so did the half dozen or so ahead of him). He ran well down the homestretch for sixth, running a personal best of 3:45.04. He appeared to have something left at the end, and there was an outside possibility that he could have been a time qualifier had he made his move a bit earlier. The winner was Caleb Ndiku of Kenya in 3:42.32. The final time qualifier ran 3:44.45 so Callaghan was just outside that
It seems the Seiko people are having trouble uploading the results to the site. In the meantime, here are the results of Day 2

Ajee Wilson made it through to the women's 800 final on time running 2:04. Roessler was the fastest non-qualifier. Wilson ran a great tactical race for 795 meters, staying out of traffic and taking it out in a comfortable looking 60.9 but got into trouble in the last 5 meters when she eased up before the line and got outleaned by a Russian athlete. The 2:04 looked very relaxed so hopefully she will be able to run faster in the final.

Ajee did not make it to the final. The Russian edged her out, also running a 2:04.33. At least this is what the national schloastic website was saying:
"Ajee Wilson lead from the gun, running 32.59 for 200m and 60.98 for 400m. She was passed down the homestretch by Koech and, thinking she would qualify automatically being in the top two, let up. As she did that, a charging Zavyalova caught her. It took while to read the photo, but the Russian was given the nod over Wilson. As Ajee now knows, you can never lose your focus at this level."
Both Ajee and the Russian are through to the finals.

interesting to read this article on Linet Masai where she talks about her 22 year old brother Dennis- who - just happened to win the 10,000m world junior championships yesterday?
Laura was the first out, .01 behind Ajee for the last spot on time.

15 year old Kiwi kid with 20.77 Shot Putt. I know it's 'only' 6kg but that's still impressive for someone so young.
The links work!
Yes. It appears only the evening sessions are streamed tho. Oh well, works out perfect for the finals. Also, the cbc website did not block their evening stream today, maybe the official complaints did make a difference. Let's hope this continues.
