I think its a three way race for third and Army's going to choke. Everyone else is on an island.
Any chance if Colgate has a good day with their top 2 and their 5th man doesn't finish too far back they make a run for 4th or 5th. They seem prime to do well and anything can happen at Patriots.
Any predictions on how the race will go out. Will navy control the pace from the beginning again?
I dont see that happening but they're close. It could happen but it would have to be a pretty epic day from Colgate. I think the real story would be if American beat Navy. Navy seems to be coming back to the pack and American seems to do well at Patriots. Again it would take a pretty big day from American but its possible.

Navy rolls, AU easily takes 2nd despite the fact that Livingston and LeHardy neutralize Brannigan and Eustis. Centro's boys are much deeper than Army. Army beats out Lehigh and Bucknell for the close fight for 3rd.
id say colgate has a chance to move up if they have a good day. that 1-2 punch up front really keeps the point total down. as long as there 3,4,5 do respectably id say they could move up to the 5 spot.

the majority of the people in the thread are basing their predictions off of the results of the navy xc invite in the beginning of the year. very foolish to think that navy would run the same at lafayette as they did on their home course where they run every day. OBVIOUSLY navy and AU have come a long way since that race, but chanceless on navy 1-5ing the race, whoever suggested that is a jackass, if they couldnt do it on their own course against american, how the hell r they gonna do it with AU and army in the same race.

Individually, its not really a contest. It will be like a tempo run for Deroo. She beat the field by a minute last year, and is much improved over that now. Colgate will probably go 1-2, then drop off big by #5. Maybe they'll be able to hang on for first. maybe not.
