You may be the dumbest poster in the history of Let's Run. You would get of the sauce, EPO, whatever so you don't get busted. EPO would help you recover faster, train a little better, and help your muscles process better blood more efficiently. Most dopers or users wouldn't take it within a week or two of the race so they don't get caught.

I think the point is that elite runners can be and frequently are tested at any time not just when they race. I am sure that the nike campus is high on the drug testers priorty list due to the fact that they have the only 3 sub 13 guys in last decade and one of those happens to also be the only sub 27 white guy in history. I would bet that everyone there is getting tested all the time. By the way I think you meant to say "off" the sauce not "of".

If you follow the Twitter accounts of Solinsky and Simon Bairu, they describe impromptu visits from drug testers quite frequently.

Exactly, which is why its absurd to think Marion Jones might have been doping. Oh wait.

USADA or WADA are not known to show up in the evening. most drugs are taken in the evening after dinner. PED users do this since they have a chance to clear overnight before a USADA or WADA shows up at the door at 8am.

so unless you are living with the individual athlete you can't prove they are off or on drugs....

the only thing you can say is they have not produced a positive urine drug test. unfortunately the urine drug test and the way they are administered are very poor at detecting systematic drug use. this is non-disputable and agreed upon by most researchers and WADA. you just have to do a pubmed search...so there will always be doubt:(

P.S. WADA and USADA might be changing their tactics due to Floyd Landis pointing out how he and his teams avoided positive results for a number of years.

P.S.S. until WADA/USADA adopt drug testing of the blood instead of urine combined with random 24/7 testing.... the sport will never be cleaned up.....

P.S.S.S. plus get rid of prescribed drugs like thyroid for athletes (hypothyroid =overtraining in athletes).....there will be doubts...

Of course, this is why they moved to Oregon: they needed to be there to gain the full benefits of the Oregon Pharmaceutical Project. Big deal. They all do it.

I love the fact that they're doping, if they are. It makes for better entertainment as a track fan.

Top guys training together and competing against each other take all to faster times and more competitiveness. Yes, and I was trying to thwart some of the 'obvious' doping conclusions/ threads. Too many of those getting attention for the 'candy from a baby' talk have much to gain from the publicity AND were caught, so I guess they were not very good at taking that candy.
