Why do so many lower-middle class folks drink multiple large cans of Bud Light, Coors Light, and the like?

NO, it's true for people who have a little bit of money...that's when you can afford to pay for beer that tastes better. Poor people buy cheap alcohol...as cheap as they can get it.Don't kid yourself though, you aren't drinking beer because you like the taste of beer. You drink specific beer because you like the taste of that beer over other beers, but anyone who tells you they drink beer "for the taste" is either a newly minted beer drinker who wants to seem adult, or they are an alcoholic who is in denial about why they drink it.

That might be true if you don't like beer, but a lot of people do. Some people drink soda, I drink beer, because I like the taste. Why would I buy a beer I didn't like? Would you buy soda/whatever else you enjoy you didn't like just because it cost less?

Well I have had many different micro brewed beers and I still prefer miller high life. I like to try new things I often take a long time to decided which beer I will buy because 50% of the time I want to try something new. To say other beers are better makes you a ra tard. Everyone taste things a bit diff and maybe a cheaper brewed beer actually taste better to someone else. I guess to think it could be possible that someone with money could actually like a cheaper beer is crazy. I will only agree that most people who have a bit less money will pick the cheaper beer every time because its all they can afford. By the way you are in a class of your own if you make fun of other classes of people. I think that class is called douche bag. Next time you drink try the champagne of beers.

Some people prefer a 6 pack of larger containers, some prefer a 6 pack of smaller containers. Calling some cans 'large' and others not is your decision, not theirs.

I drink Busch Light by the 30 pack. $18 gets me through the weekend.

You're wrong. Peel off the labels of a Natural Light, Coors Light, Miller Lite, or Bud Light and I couldn't tell the difference. Same corn and cereal grain fortified shit. Not the same case with Micro's though.

The question you need to ask yourself, and I think someone else said it in this thread, is why the f*** do you care what someone else chooses to drink? It's their choice, back off. Bud has it's place. Micro's have theirs. As a middle class person can you really justify spending $10 for a six pack when you can get a 12 pack for the same price?
