Anybody near the Stanford /announcer - at least tell him/text him/email him to read off some splits. Otherwise he is useless. You can hear the Flotrack dudes in the background if you turn it w-a-a-ay up.

Wow - horrible coverage from a pay-per-view service. I am tuning out and will wait until it is on flotrack.
Glad I'm not paying for this. I'd be really pissed at the value of this broadcast. I can live with the video, but I agree that the announcer is worse than useless. He is not even master of the obvious.
Horrible coverage. The feed is bad and the announcer is the worst I've ever seen/heard. He didn't say a single word during the entire 1st men's 5k, 1st time I've seen a guy take a lunch break during a telecast! Thanks to the Letsrunner that posted the free code, I would be pissed if I paid $10 for this crap.
Now he's taking another snack break??? A bathroom break? Sure NOTHING happens the first 15 laps of a 10k. Might as well just broadcast the last quarter of that Cavs-Celtics game today. Boy - if they want people to pay for this they are about 5 years away.
I suggest everyone email those responsible for the coverage that are unsatisfiedd. I for one am. :(
No splits, no sound, they skip parts, no commentary, just the announcer (who adds some obvious fact like "now so-in-so has taken the lead").
Well you can tell it's just students who are picking up a few bucks. Obviously you can't have professional announcers at EVERY meet in America but if you are going to pay for it and you are going for records - maybe you can find someone - a coach, something. Coaches can always use a few bucks!

Did anyone else hear the kid trying to pronounce Bekele's name. Granted that is tough to say, but its safe to say these guys had better not be communications majors, because no one in their right mind would fire them after hearing this commentary.
