Further proof that frat boys and sorostitutes are lamers who can't win friends without paying for them. Also further proof that I was smart to avoid that crap.

The boos dont bother me, that happens at step shows. If the Kappas win and the Omegas think they should have won, you will hear booing. That happens a lot.

What does bother is the fact that they changed the decision and made co-winners. That was BULLSHIT!!!! The white girls deserved to be the sole winners. The black people complaining were nothing but haters. Sprite(Coke) caved in to pressure because they are scared bitches. Fair is fair and this is WRONG. If they dont like white sororities beating them at their own game, then they need to try harder next time.

Amazing. Unfortunately they did not 'win', it was declared a tie despite the superior performance of one group.

Did they have to use the White locker room and White toilet ?

Wow, just wow!! Imagine if a Black couple won a country western dance contest and half the white audience was booing. But, that just wouldn't happen these days. There would be serious ramifications. People say Jesse and Al would get on it but that's not the real difference maker.

Most importantly, nowadays many Whites vocally call out other Whites on their racism. Interestingly, the people responsible for shutting down some of these white racist hate groups are usually other whites. For example Morris Dees (a white dude) from the SPLC has aggressively pursued and caused numerous shutdowns of KKK branches and other racist orgs (he won a multi million dollar suit against the Aryan nations compound in Idaho adn bankrupted them).

Blacks are no worse as people than Whites. They aren't any better either. It's just a simple fact that people will do what they can get away with. Blacks nowadays can get away with being racist. Absolutely no punishment for it from Whites or even more importantly no punishment from fellow Blacks or the Black community for instances of Black racism. Until more Blacks find the courage to stand up against Black racism it will thrive.

Wow, there is intelligent life here. Refreshing. You pretty much nailed it. Short on time here, but would like to briefly respond. I think it was that Nat Turner poster who mentioned something about some racist posts being made (presumably by white people) on this forum. The difference, I think, no matter who actually posts racist/bigoted/demeaning remarks on here, is they're usually called out on it from what I can tell.

If I ever hear someone white being bigoted, I straight tell them that they're wrong for it. However, I've had some black people who I thought were my friends not do the same, not even to defend me. If one of their pals said something derogatory about my race in my presence, they (the so-called friends) wouldn't defend me or my race at all. They'd just let it go, as if they didn't have the courage to speak up. Not that I need them to speak up, I have no problem doing that myself. Still, it's the principle of it all. That's the difference I've noticed in my short lifetime. Most white people I've ever been around will call out "their own" for bigoted comments. Can't say the same for most black people that I've known. Why is this?

That crowd response (after showing gracious enthusiasm after the actual performance) gives the African-American collegiate stepping community a black eye.

to be fair, I went ahead and watched the two co winners again, with my daughter, and then forced myself to watch clips from a dozen more step shows. So, now I have to recant my earlier statement. They are all a bunch of amateurs, which is why I thought that the white sorority was terrible, but upon comparison with the others, I see that the white sorority is better than most of what I saw, with one clear exception. The Alphas, I think, were co-winners and had three more difficult moves, but also lousy costumes and they did far too much standing around (a problem with a lot of the step groups that I saw). But there was a group of men, all black but for the lead guy who was white, in the HBCU competition doing some sort of bizarre Orientalist routine wearing blue robes and being directed by a guy in an Asian racial caricature fu manchu costume. The truth is that they were far better than any of the other step groups I saw. They were perfectly synchronized, did tough moves, played the drums with samurai swords like they were in Stomp! and didn't stand around most of the time like many other groups or do more clapping than stepping.

And how many rode black peckers after the show?
