GNAC showed up big today! WWU Men and SPU women both stepping up for 4th! Pixler and Porter 1-2 individually, Anchorage women 5th, WWU women 8th. Good stuff!
WWU men are going to be sick next year with 5/7 returning. Awesome racing today for the GNAC!
It's hard to say at this point, but I think next year will be tough for everyone. Several teams are returning the majority of their top seven (or choosing from their top 15+, in the case of Adams). The depth of the field next year will be crazy good. Western, Mines, GVSU, Chico and more ran some young squads this year. This should make for some awesome races the next several years.

If you look at the prediction contest as well as all of the talk over the last two weeks Braun was the pick. Everyone else was talking about other guys choking and stuff but in my mind he is the choker. He has been favored so many times and not been able to pull it off it is almost sad.

That was a great show and I had said earlier that Abiline will only have individuals qualify for nationals. I want to specifically congratulate everyone who participated and for the top four, thanks for making a dream come true they never believe that guys like you can run good in the cold weather but you did it. I hope it goes the same for D1 next week and this time atleast 1 to 5 like it was in D2.

What causes people to be so negative like this? Really, what do you get out of talking shit in this manner about someone? I know good ol' Braun, and I know that he's one hell of a guy.

XC National Championship finishes:
23, 2, 2, and 5.
I'm not quite sure how finishing 5th, at the national championship, and winning the team national title is choking. But, you might just have a different definition than I do.
