Scenario 1: Rabbit hits half at 1:57 - Rupp: 3:55.24
Scenario 2: Rabbit hits half at 1:58.5 - Rupp: 3:56.84
Scenario 3: Rabbit goes to 3/4 at 2:57 - Rupp: 3:54.77
Looks like 2 rabbits, rabbits often f#%k up so this is actually a bad thing. Better if just one rabbit, if he's off at half Rupp has the 2nd half to try to compensate. If the rabbit is off at 3/4 there aint much left to do.
Regardless of time, does anyone think Rupp won't win?

Well AJ does have a faster PR. So does Chapa but I think he may just be the first rabbit. If Rupp runs what he's capable of he won't be beat, but if he runs 3:58 it's possible.
Acosta may be due for a PR, not sure how his training or health have been.
Rupp will not only break the indoor record but he will also be victorious. Rupp is like MJ back in 1996! Just badass

He'll run 5:01.26, which includes a full 60 seconds at a dead stop staring longingly at the members of the mens' 60m field in their speed suits while in the middle of his 3rd lap.

this is true, between his 1:49 800 and :56 last 400 on his 13:18, I just don't think he can handle going out in 1:58 at the half, he lacks the "turnover" (sarcasm).
