Little Bekele qualified in the first heat.

I can't believe no one made a decent pace of this race. Beating a 13:42 time to qualify is "nothing" for these guys.... but they didn't do it.
Soi wins in 13:46.41. Kipsiro second. 53.37 last 400. 2:27.42 last k. Cragg is still in it. But the 3rd heat will be loaded. Don't think Farah made it, but I might have missed it.
results? Who is in the final?
There's still heat 3 to go.

You are right. Farah faded ont he last 200 and finished 5th or 6th.
Last heat took off with Lagat, Bekele, Mottram. Kwalia and Longosiwa also contenders for top 4 spot.
While there's a pause in the action--I hate NBC
Okay heat 3
Bekele, Mottram, Lagat
They're off

I'll be very surprised if most (if not all) of the time qualifiers come from this heat. Teg sure looks like he put himself in a perfect postion.

Bandi is looking around with a "hey what am I doing in front" look.
Pace is slowing as they head toward 3k

Bekele toward the back, behind Mottram, Lagat a bit in front of both.
