Yeah, This is very similar to the recent discussion here about Boston 1982, where, for the spectators, it didn't feel so hot, and even runners watching along the course didn't think so. But Hodgie-san confirmed on that thread that due to the following wind from the west, it was in fact quite hot for the runners.
