Thanks a lot, a##hole. I´ve been in Spain all semester and can´t see that film until I get home. Anyway...I´m pleased to see all the mentions of Gus MacRae from Lonesome Dove. I love that series. Sgt. Elias is another good choice. But, as somebody else said, where are all the females on this board? No Pay It Forward?
Whatever.

The hot chick in Snakes on a Plane who gets bit in the chest. What a waste. I was hoping to see more of her.
Not a film, but Buffy at the end of season 5. Even though I knew they'd resurrect her the next season, I was really hoping they'd kill that annoying Dawn instead.
Glem Campbell as La Boeuf in "True Grit."
harry potter in harry potter 3
Close second is David Keith as Sid Worley in "An Officer and a Gentleman."
Ole Yeller.
Has anyone mentioned John Wayne? I think that Wayne was killed in a movie only once. That was by ultrarunner/marathoner Bruce Dern who gunned him down in "The Cowboys" in 1972. A lot of Wayne fans hated Bruce after that movie came out.
Gny. Sgt. Hartman in Full Metal Jacket
Jesus...The Passion...it was awesome!
when bruce willis kills himself in sin city to protect jessics alba. I forgot the characters name.

Actually Boba Fett didn't die in the pit. He managed to escape and heal to attack Han Solo later on the series. But that's going into the books.... but in the movie techincally he is still alive.
damn, you beat me to it. I was going to jump in and display my nerdy star wars knowledge about what happened later in the books. I salut you sir.

After you do that, you may want to salute him as well.
Has to be Augustus McCrae in Lonesome Dove, perhaps the best role ever for Robert Duvall

in fact Easy Rider was on TV the other day, i still can't recall ever having seen it before, can't think why, i must be a troll or a total moron. If i had seen it, i certainly remember nothing about it, which is unusual for me.
I'm still waiting for Vanishing Point to come onto TV or DVD so i can try to understand it.
