a friend of mine told me that while in Mexico on a retreat he ran by a guy face down in mud. he thought it was probably just some drunk that passed out, but on the way back from his run the guy is still lying face down in the mud. so my buddy went to look closer just to check and saw the guy had a big hole in the back of his head. he then proceeded to puke all over the body and run away as fast as possible
I found a dead bear once laying on a running trail during hunting season, turns out that someone shot it and couldn't find it and i found it the next day, kind of scary cuz i didnt know if it was dead or not at first, luckily for me it was!
I found a giant headless snapping turtle in the middle of the path way. I guess an angry fisherman cut off its head.
Father's Day 1997, running along Surfside Beach, south of Houston. Found a body washed up. I went out to the Bluewater Highway and flagged down a car and got the cops out there. The kid had went in the previous night 4 miles south, had been drinking, imagine that. More bizarre due to the remoteness of the area.
Back in 2003 I was out running after work around 2-3am in Orlando and saw somebody get killed in a car accident. Car flipped a bunch of times. It was pretty creepy when they pulled the body out of the car and covered it with the sheet.
Florida State guys were on here before saying how one day at their trails there was a dead 60+ year old on the trail that they tried to revive. Perhaps 2005. Traumatized the group for a bit.

I was finishing a run that ended at my house. Two doors down was my elderly neighbor who had died from a heart attack while watering his lawn. I was the first upon the scene, but it was too late.
